Rome Buzz – Circo Massimo
The Circus Maximus (great circus) in Rome is stunning. Seating 150,000 people, it was the site of chariot racing, athletics, plays and recitals, beast hunting and gladiator contests for 1,000 years. It was originally a flooded area which meant it could be flooded to re-enact mock sea battles. Epic!
